In most LF illustrations the primary goal is to depict the true nature of the subject. It’s secondary to produce an example of pure artwork. More important is to provide a very content-oriented whale experience. The classic composition, the nondynamic pose, the consistency of space and depth, the dramatic lighting, and the skill of execution all reflect LF’s formal training in fine art.
